Product Development in recent years has included an significant extension of the range of sandwich panels we can produce. 3 new types of panel have been developed:

Secret Fix Panel (Wall panel type FC) - sandwich panel with hidden fixing, specially designed for horizontal mounting. Ideal for use in architectural type buildings (offices, showrooms, commercial sales buildings)

Decawool Rockwall Panel - sandwich panel with mineral wool core and fire resistance of between 30 and 120 minutes.

Fire resistant panels - PIR Panels with 68 minutes fire resistance. Isocab acquired certification of 30 minutes and 60 minutes fire resistance for this new panel according to the following norms:

Europe prEN13501 part 2 IE 30 and IE 60

Belgium RUG NBN 713.020

France CSTB

UK LPCB (BRE) LPS1208 BS476: part 22

Netherlands TNO NEN 6069

The tests even showed a result of 37 minutes on a sandwich panel of 110mm and 68 minutes on a sandwich panel of 200mm.

Commercial & Tourist Sectors
The Group's key involvement has always been in the industrial sector, but recent years have seen it expand operations in the commercial sector, particularly tourism. Two examples include:

Ski Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The Isocab Group is privileged to have been selected for the supply of a special PIR panel which it developed for use in the interiors of the world famous indoor snow resort Ski Dubai. Read more about Ski Dubai

Ice Station Antarctica - Natural History Museum, London
The Group's UK representative Frimatec constructed a special cold facility for the exhibition, designed for visitors to experience the kind of low temperatures encountered in the Antarctic. The exhibition (Dec 2007 to April 2008) is scheduled to move on to Grenada in Spain followed by a world tour. Read more about Ice Station Antarctica
