ISOCAB® was founded in 1973 and over the years evolved into an internationally established leader in the polyurethane panel industry. Frimatec UK joined the group in 1985, adding refrigeration systems and frost protection mats to the product range. Now a company of ThyssenKrupp Steel, their combined forces offer a total solutions package for the commercial and industrial refrigeration industry, particularly for cold rooms and clean rooms. Our success can be accredited to a number of key factors - vast experience, commitment to continual reinvestment, unique production systems and an uncompromising commitment to perfection. Key dates in the history of our development: 1986 - ISOCAB® started producing industrial sandwich panels (up to 19.5 metres) offering an even stronger product range in the construction of large cooling and freezing stores and industrial buildings.
1989 - ISOCAB® FRANCE 1 was opened in Dunkirk, a factory with a continuous production line of structural insulated wall and roof panels. 1991 - There was further investment by the company in Dunkirk with the opening of ISOCAB® FRANCE 2, a factory producing wall and roof cladding (also profiles, structural liners, decking, tile trays and accessories). 1996 - The company was accorded ISO 9002 certification. 2001 - A new factory opened in Perpignan for the manufacture of industrial panels including mineral wall panels. The factory has a press of 70 metres enabling much faster production of its industrial panel range. 2005 - A new branch of the Group opened in Vietnam. 2006 - Further expansion into Asia with the founding of Rizhao Sunscape Isocab New Building Materials Ltd in China. 2008 - Colour/Construction Competence Centre formed in partnership with ThyssenKrupp Steel. Frimatec UK's involvement in the group has also brought into the product range: Hermekit refrigeration package systems from 1/3 hp to 120 hp and Klopper-therm frost protection mats
The group takes pride in the assistance it lends to its customers - available from start to completion of a project if required. Plans can be drawn and all accessories custom made to comply with customers' wishes. Installation supervisors with extensive, international experience can assist in the erection of every project.
